PICTURES!!!!

Well the drama seems to finally be done with, so I think I'll post some pictures from recent adventures....

Santa Fe Speedway

Santa Fe was a dirt track that used to be out here in the Chicago suburbs. It was named for it's proximity to the Santa Fe rail line. It originally opened in the late 1800's as a horse racing venue. It was inactive around the time of the depression, and then revived for auto racing around WWII. The final checkered flag fell in 1995, and housing now occupies the site. This old billboard still exists about 3 miles north of where it once stood.

New Lenox Speedway

This is really just a friend's driveway where we race remote control cars. It's an elaborate setup, but we do like our racing. On this particular day we ran a milestone event, which I won!
